Mr. Niblett was obliged to incur some unforeseen expenses at Hotels in his charge during his troublesome journey through Egypt, which, as far as promised a free passage to the Colony for himself and family by the Authorities of the War Department.
Enclosure No. 2 dated 18th August, 1866.
M. Niblett, he considers it right to be reimbursed by Government; The same expended Amounts to £7. 5. 6 as per Inclosures A° 3. – £5.17.4.1.8 = £7.6.6 which, as House Rent and the necessaries of life are at the present time very high in price in the Colony, I recommend that he be reimbursed.
